Boxer - Honor - Small - Young - Female - Dog
5-23-12 - Honor is now at my home. She is a bundle of energy and loves to play, play, play. We found out that she does not like little dogs. She has attacked a Yorkie and growled at a Boston Terrier. She is submissive to dogs her size and needs a home of her own and another dog to play with. She is a very sweet girl. 12-25-11 Honor is such a sweet girl! She loves giving kisses and snuggling. She gets along with all of our dogs (big and little, male and female). She has been great with children and cats. It has been fun to see her come out of her shell and enjoy being a dog. It has been an absolute pleasure fostering her! Let's find her a forever home to spend the new year with a new life of love with a forever family. She would love to have a little boy or girl to call her own. *All dogs spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and rabies, and on heartworm prevention. 11-19-11 Honor is doing wonderful after being with us for a few months! She has filled out so much and looks beautiful. She is such a fun loving girl. She loves kids and dogs and doesn't even mind cats. Now she just needs her forever home. I just thought I'd share a picture of her! 7/30/11- Update from Foster home: 'I thought I'd just give you a quick little update on Honor. She is getting along with both big and little dog. She's curious about the cats, but just barely. So far, so good. I gave her a bath and she did fine! The only issue we are having right now is that one of her eyes is red and a little goopy. I'm going to see if I can get her to a vet tomorrow morning to have it checked out. She's a funny girl. VERY lanky! We should've name her Olive Oil! :)' 7-23-11 This is a pretty little boxer girl who was surrendered to Animal Control when they went to her home. There were 13 boxers all living outside in 100 degree temps. They were able to take 9 and save 6 of the 9. Even the owner did not know which female was her mama and which male was her daddy. They were all boxers and only one was not white. When she was separated from the group and put in a run by herself she tried so hard to escape she cut the side of her face. They all were dependant on each other for love and companionship. She is a happy girl with a tail that wags with joy when I go see her. She will be in a foster home in a couple days and know love and joy the way a dog should know. She will need her forever home when she is fully vetted so watch her progress and get your application in early. NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have 'regular business hours'. For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
